These are photos I've taken, rough and at random.

I took a road trip down the south of America exactly one year ago. On a shore along the Georgia coast, something went funny with my camera and this was the result. I don’t really mind it, I actually quite like the look. The day was so bright and these markings are so black, I like the shapes and the contrast. We couldn’t stop here for long but during that time everything was amazing. The sea smell, the sand, breeze, water, sun and company were unlike any other and complimented each other perfectly. It could never be the same but I don’t think I’d want it to be. Probably why I like these photos!

My cousin likes to do back flips. I caught a lucky snap right before he landed. I love looking at the second photo on it’s own, forgetting that he was mid back flip. He looks so strangely suspended there with just the tips of his hand and foot grazing the ground. The shape of his body is so cool to look at here.

These are a few pictures I took last summer when I lived with two babes who were very understanding that I had my camera out all the time. We were always living life in a way I wanted to remember.

These pictures are typical of our summer together: patio, sun, flowers, silliness and smiles.

MADDIE EATS FRUIT SALAD

A few snaps: signs of sunny spring on this grosscoldrainy day. Forgetmenots (forever a favorite) are turning up everywhere and the butterflies are aflutter. I had to move verrrry slowly to sneak up on this unsuspecting Monarch. No thanks to my company Lizzie, who kept rompstomping through the yard and scaring the butterflies away. Ah well, it was her yard.

on a Sunday not too long ago, my lady B let me snap a few shots of her flawless face. I always love natural light on faces. It makes each snap more life like for me, like I’m snapping something straight from my memory.

She’s got quite face this one. She’s a real beauty of a thing. She has an awesome fashion blog over at http://brecreative.com/ that you should check out.

I went on a jaunt through High Park with a friend as the leaves were turning this past fall:  the (always) lovely shade of Liz next to such pretty oranges.

Just a few cameraphone shots from a fashion exhibit done by Pardon Le Dopeness- a Toronto based clothing designer that started out with graffiti before beginning his clothing line. Attendees were all swagga and style and that totally added to the exhibit’s aesthetic. You can’t help but stare down what other’s are wearing, like they’re part of the show and I’m sure that was the intention of some. Good time, good vibe.
